@goosehd oh my friend, don’t get me wrong this dog effing scares me to move a slight bit in the wrong way or even breath in a way he despises. My siblings & I are scared shitless of this dog. I’ve been charged and attacked by this dog more times than I can count on one hand just for coming in the main door after throwing out the trash. He’s already attacked the neighbor and given them stitches. Whatever monsters had him before he came into the family ruined him bc if he doesn’t shape up, it’ll be a sad ending for him.

@RoxRocks86 It’s sad but completely understandable. At the UMN veterinary hospital there were instances of dogs being muzzled before they were allowed to come in for any treatment due to the exact reasons you mentioned.

The previous owners would train them to fight and once they outlived their fighting days (if they survived) would be abandoned. Many of them were rescued by caring owner hoping to rehabilitate them and had little to no luck. The veterinary behaviourists worked with the animal and the new owners on ways and strategies to try and reintegrate into society with some successes but also quite a few failures.

I wish you and JB the best of luck and be patient as it may work out, but there is also nothing wrong when you know the time is right. Sleep well knowing you’ve done the right thing and you tried.

@lengis I think that Nick's sizing its consistent with Red Wing. I have two pairs of Iron Ranger and as with two pair of Nicks (BuilderPro and now the Americana) they are size 8.
