I'm pretty much committed to flying into LHR because there are direct flights from AUS to LHR and they're actually reasonable and I despise layovers.

@Clint_D but you’re doing a couple of days in London first, so you can go Heathrow -> central London in taxi/on Elizabeth line/heathrow express, then to get to Gosport you need a train from London Waterloo direct to Portsmouth Harbour. Also super easy, and faster than from Gatwick - 1h25m

OK boys... Copenhagen to Gatwick in Friday relatively early, Gosport Travelodge 2 nights, flight back late Sunday Gatwick booked.... I think only my third or fourth trip to the UK since last I lived there in 2004-2006.

I’m signed up too - I managed to nab a small AirBnb a 5 minute walk from the shop. On the form I originally put Friday only - is it possible to upgrade to Fri-Sun?
