My fave time of year for hiking in Colorado. Most people are headed skiing and sitting in horrendous traffic. Nice cover of snow and the only other people I happened to coincidently cross paths with were the best man at my wedding and his girl haha. I’ll take that any day!

Found a little face that was sheltered from the 35mph sustained winds in Collegiate Peaks Wilderness over the Xmas break. Hattie did her first scramble, and then she climbed all the way to the top of Red Rocks yesterday. Each of those steps for her would be like a jump box for us so I was pleased and proud.
