Is there much shrinkage with a cold wash and no spin? I have a pair the fits great in the waist, thigh, and knee, but wouldn't want very much more shrinkage.

there won’t be much shrinkage if at all when washing cold. Maybe a little at the waist, but that will stretch back with wear . No need to be afraid .
Don’t forget to soak them before you put them in the machine. And turn inside out is what I always recommend. Can’t go wrong with that method.

My first heavy jeans, some questions I hope you can help with before I buy:

1. Is 25oz not too extreme for the first pair?
2. It shrinks after the first washing. How the "Hem" measurement changes?

@JeansCat it sort of depends on what your past experience is with heavy jeans. A lot of people find it easier to start with one of our lighter weight offerings, typically the 21oz. It then also removes any worry about shrinkage too...

This is my first try ever.
I was really impressed of this guys 19oz,

They fade more quickly than 25, do not create holes because it is not so rigid.
But the price is almost the same, and if I buy 19 or 21, I will need to 25 for sure...
So...

Just copped these from a Black Friday sale. I usually wear relax tapered pairs but want something a bit slimmer. I’m shocked the thigh measurement at my size is generous. I never would have thought a slim cut would have the measurements I need. Hoping these will fit me well.
