Not a dumb question at all. The different dyeing processes definitely affect the density of the weave and therefore air circulation. The 21oz SBG breathes a lot less than the regular stuff for example. I don’t have the ib, so can’t comment, but you may well notice a difference.

A bit less, the dyeing of the weft gives the weave a tighter end result….

That's interesting to know. As much as I love my SBGs I do get a little clammy in them on long walks! Will definitely be trying out the OG 21oz stuff someday [emoji1362]

Why are the measurements on these are so different to 21oz indigo type?
The 21oz indigo at tag size 36 have 95cm in waist, and these indigo/black at tag size 36 has 91.7cm at waist. Hmm...?
So for me the indigo/black at tag size 36 is to small and tag size 38 is to big

@Jan_L far as I can tell they’re pretty similar for tag 36. 21oz indigo = 92.7 cm, Indigo/black = 91.7cm.

Not sure where you’re seeing the 95cm for the indigo?

@jerkules sorry, my fault. you are absolutely right. tag size 36 in waist is nearly the same. seems like i should pull the trigger on the 21ib

My 21oz IB’s finally showing a bit of wear. Job requires FR so these are only my weekend warrior pants. One hand wash on these so far.

I'm also getting my UHRs fixed up in Gosport, so might even rotate them with these over the winter period!

@T4920 Right on dude. I'm likely picking up a pair of UHR at the party as well. Funnily enough, my loose plan is to rotate UHR and 25oz indigo/black soon too. Nearly the same plan haha

I just picked up a pair on Grailed brand new with tags a week ago and they are insane on how good that Indigo Black looks. I never thought I would be able to get a brand new pair at least not for a few years. Right now they are tied with my 666 double indigo duck as my 2 favorites.
