I’m still deciding on M vs L on these. The consensus seems to be tts but the measurements suggest an L will be more appropriate based on my medium 6.5 and 7.5 tees. Has anyone gone up based on their IH 6.5 or 7.5 size?

I took my UHF size (large) on these and am really happy with the fit. Sized up from thermal (medium).

Heya Matt! Whether western or work (I have both) I've gone Large on all but one. I don't think I have any printed IH T shirts, but I'll give you some other shirt size comparisons that will hopefully help:

• Small in Dehen 1920 heavy duty T
• Large in Whitesville T (fits great after hot wash and hot dry)
• Medium/Large in 3Sixteen heavyweight T

With any stretchy material, like thermals and Ts and even hoodies (I take an M on the current run of IH hoodies), I try to go for my chest measurement, or maybe just a tad bigger. My chest is 39.25". I do like a trim fit, though. I could size up for a looser fit if that were my thing. Problem is I'm not especially tall (5'10"), so larger shirts can sometimes be too long.

@Matt I take an XL in these Utilitees, but an L in my (long sleeve) IH 7.5oz Tees. I also take an L in the IH waffle henleys.

So my advice is size up one from your IH Tee size.

Started with those two, sage and peach. Next I thing hand dyed yellow and indigo. Who knows? Gotta catch ‘em all.

How did the sizing work out for you, @Matt ? I just picked up another pair of white and black.

Sizing up one was perfect. If I had gone Medium they def would not have worked. I’ll be needing all the hand dyed colors and the itokuzu now.

Does the pure indigo fade with use and washes?

@bluemantra yes, fades nicely and steadily. I hand wash it with a mild detergent to avoid streaks and slow the fading process down.
