@Oaktavia Mate I was not cold! About somewhere in the middle of night the first time I had to throw it off. But I managed the second time! You are next level sir.

How often do you wash your shirts? I know this is personal preference and generally when it gets too stinky (hold on as long as possible etc), but I'm curious about your method... Do you have a way to combat smells? Or are you the kinda person who doesn't sweat?

Still camping out, I haven’t taken this off in about 72 hours lol, going to shows, partying round the fire, sleeping in it. Dirtbag life but it’s keeping me warm. Will absolutely need a wash when I get home tomorrow, both myself AND the jacket.

if you take a close look at the right sleeve you still see a little rest of the folding crease , even though I already ironed it. will wear to set creases when it’s a little more dry and hope it will be gone

@Daniel-San it was you bringing to my attention the consequences of fold crease fades (I believe on your hefty lefty’s little bit back). I always make sure to remove my fold creases now because of this. I salute you sir 🫡 🖕❤️

Yeah, I’ve still got a pretty prominent sleeve fold crease fade on my left arm but I’m sure it’ll blend eventually.

Hey @Graham have you been wearing this? Wondering how it's coming along since your last update. How's it softening up?

I'm about a month of daily wear into it with one soapy soak and it's a little softer but still pretty stiff. Way more comfy than when I got it tho!

Request for pics!!! I'm wondering if anyone's been regularly washing their 16oz... I've been keeping mine pretty nasty with daily wear since this dropped and only one soapy soak after camping out. I'm curious how soft this will get and how much it'll lighten. My wife keeps calling this one my "cardboard jacket" and refuses to wear it, opting instead for a UHF lol. I'm holding out as long as possible for sharp fades before picking up a washing routine.

This is after 1 months wear everyday, I don’t have an especially active job so I’m making up for that with never taking it off. Following Filthy’s Mike advice for honeycombs on jeans I’ve applied that to the short sleeves - spraying the arms with water to help the creases settle in more…7AD2187F-E9B8-416D-92A7-174D5590F63D.jpeg 0A4CBB8F-084D-4627-B2D3-74FF394D3B1D.jpeg 12F55D1C-12EB-4B91-B7F9-09F90DDF0F53.jpeg

@WhiskeySandwich I have the 08 SBG which may be 10 years old. It does not soften up much. Feel free to do hand washes in the tub and line dry as much as needed. The 16oz SBG is uniquely stiff and stubborn. I imagine over some hardcore wear over time it will. I’ve worn mine for a few seasons in less active situations. So maybe you might experience some Additional softness since you’re wearing it much harder than I am. Hope this helps and happy fading!
