IH-526J-142 - 14oz Selvedge Denim Modified Type III - Indigo

Question for the experts…I live in the US and ordered this Type III 14oz from SelfEdge. I love the character of the denim, the attention to detail and, most importantly, the fit. It is the nicest denim jacket in my closet. However, when I tried it on, I immediately noticed the following issue...

On the right cuff (top in the photo), the length of one side was trimmed longer than the other side so when the button is inserted into the button-hole, it causes the longer side to buckle up and twist at the button, making the cuff sit very strangely when it is closed.

I have never owned an Iron Heart jacket before, but I wanted some feedback and know what my options are. Thanks in advance for your help!

Hmmm… and it isn’t the same on both arms?

I never button my type III cuffs, so I wouldn’t know, but if the cuffs on each arm are different, then I would say it was a production fault and needs to be taken up with the retailer.

My 526J-142 has the same thing on the cuffs/vents/whatever. The two arms are different. Never bothered me.

I've never owned a denim jacket in my life! So, I thought where better to start than Iron Heart! Managed to snag the last small at Rivet and Hide in Manchester. Totally blown away with it and can't wait for it to age beautifully! The fit is perfect. Thanks to Quentin for keeping it to one side for me until I could get to the store and the rest of the guys for being as amazing as ever! Also, came away with an Indigofera Copeland Moleskin Shirt which I will post a pic on that thread.

@Bailey curious as to what size you are wearing here? Could you layer with a flannel?

@SKT Hi mate, I initially chucked on the Medium, but this was a Large in the photos, I reckon it would be pretty close to layer with a flannel, but definitely if you didnt want to button up should be a go-er!

Dumb question, but why are the measurements so different on Selfedge and ironshopprovisions compared to the IHUK website? Why would they be so different in the chest measurement
