It's a Japanese corduroy originating in Shizuoka, the knitting technique for this style of Japanese corduroy has been passed down through generations of weavers. The result is a firmly-knit, with a soft-feeling pile, that offers excellent heat retention for such a lightweight fabric. Going to offer it in a few different colourways.

My sister gave me a shirt with a similar fabric (if it is sort of a corduroy with orthogonal wales) in olive many many years ago so that one is very interesting to me.
Blazer too if I could pull it off for work but don’t think I could.
