@T4920 thank you for the detailed reply. Really helpful and exactly the kind of feedback I was hoping for. This particular shirt has more wiggle room than I have experienced with other similar shirts (Wabash and Heavy Flannel) so a bit of shrinkage isn’t going to be an issue. For now I will just enjoy it then give it a wash as needed. As you say it’s easy to get paranoid and over think these things. Thanks again for you help, really appreciated

@oldsoulguy56 I own the IHSH-91 hickory stripe work shirt and I've warm washed it dried it many times with very little shrinkage. The thing i notice most with the hickory stripe is the collar tends to show color since you have plenty of white to get some ring neck. The western has wider blue stripes than the work version so you may deal with it less.
My suggestion is when you go to wash it, wet the collar with warm water and massage dawn or laundry detergent into the collar and let it soak for 15-30 minutes before proceeding with your wash cycle. When you dry it, put it in the dryer for like 10-15 minutes on low and then remove it and hang dry.
Lastly, hickory and wabash are known for the hem curling up. just deal with it and love the shirt.

I admittedly haven't bought anything from the supported brands, but I have browsed (not helpful) many times and like what I see from a lot of the brands, especially Trophy.

Think this might be the right place to post this.
Looks like we are going to make it out to Hachioji on our trip to Japan this fall (grateful to have an understanding better half) and have two questions I tried to find answers for but didn’t see elsewhere:
- I am thinking the answer is probably yes, but if I buy jeans while I’m out there do they handle hemming in the shop the same day?
- Seems like 777 or 888 is not available in Japan, but is it possible to come across the odd pair over there?

@hbg1 1. Most places hem then and there.
