So I decided to experiment with these pouches to see what heavy machine washing and drying could do. To my surprise, after throwing them in with loads here and there, they evolved quite a bit. Really made sure to keep putting them back in cycles and repeat. They lost a bit of their stiffness, but I am pretty happy with the results.

This was the pouch for Iron Heart Camp in Japan 2018.
As far as I can recall, it is not a leather fabric but something like a strong waxed paper.
