Spring Summer 2024 Showroom - New York

A night in Brooklyn which included dinner at the excellent Oxomocco.

We then moved in to the city proper. We're staying at the Roxy.

Went out for some burgers for lunch at Black Tap which was awesome, then we hit the West Village to play some pool. Think I did @Alex 5-1.

@AdamJ Oxomocco is my all time favorite Mexican restaurant,and the fact that they have an outstanding tequila/mezcal list doesn't hurt either.

@AdamJ The smell is other-worldly too. Nothing like the smell of hot garbage and taxi exhaust to remind me of home.

We have eaten a lot of awesome food, I never have the inclination to get my phone out and snap a shot of it at the dinner table though. Had shows all day yesterday, collection been greatly received so far. Got some great stuff in there and something a bit different too

Last two days snapshot! Pizza at Paulie Gee's which was pretty special. Dinner at Birds of a Feather followed later that night. Few beers/bars in between. Got absolutely demolished by @Scasi on the pool table.

At JFK now for the journey home.

@AdamJ Where did you guys get BBQ from? Maybe Hometown in Red Hook?

That was Fette Sau, but as soon as I told another friend we had just been there, he immediately suggested next time we try Hometown...

@Alex When I first went to Mighty Quinns BBQ,I was talking to the owner and he said if you think my food is good you should go to Hometown BBQ in Red Hook. Been to Fette Sau a few times thought it was good.

@Oaktavia This one wasn't my favourite, one of one the previous trips I had pink lemonade I think? Which was my all time fave. Health-ade Kombucha isn't really a thing in the UK so I make a point of trying a new one each time I am in the states!
