IHSH-366-IND - 8oz Herringbone Hickory Stripe Work Shirt - Indigo
-
IHSH-366-IND - 8oz Herringbone Hickory Stripe Work Shirt - Indigo The origins of hickory stripe dates back to the style of cloth used to make overalls and hats worn by railroad workers in the Wild West - a very hard wearing fabric with the indigo stripes intended to disguise oil stains. Seen here on our traditional work shirt cut, this particular 8oz herringbone hickory fabric has been woven using a dobby loom to create more texture and character. The weft is reactive dyed to resist fading, whilst the warp has been through the indigo rope dye process 7 times, meaning the colour will start to fade very quickly. This is the highlight of the collection for me! Looks absolutely stunning. Herringbone, and hickory, and dobby, and 8oz, ... wow
-
Yep, one of my favorites too. Thinking of turning it into a SS once I get it, guessing that 8 oz would make it a nice summer short sleeve shirt for me.
-
that's a great idea @motojobobo, and a future ss version of this fabric would sell as well as the pinstripe ss chambray
-
@motojobobo Love this idea
-
So kinda like a dobby 123?
-
@Anesthetist I don't think that was herringbone, also that had a wider indigo stripe, looking at the pics.
-
@Alex gotcha, thank you
