@ARNC looks solid in the front, for me personally.. and that’s just me.. i would like to have some more room in the butt area.. but we all have our own ‘best fit’ if this is your fit then go ahead and wear them with pride 😎

@Heavy_blue thanks and, yes, that was one of my thoughts too. I’ve decided that I really need to try both sizes side by side and then keep whichever works best - arrangements are in hand. Hoping it will be an easy decision.

Love the pics @ARNC ! They're making me psyched about choosing this color vs the green.

I think fit wise they're spot on — you can tuck in your shirt, and they don't look too tight in the butt (imo). Trying both sizes always a great option though, and I feel like since most trouser type pants don't stretch much, comfort from the get-go is key. I learned that lesson with my wabash pants, thought they were doable but they just never got comfortable for me so I had to sell em and size up.

@popvulture thanks. The shirt was a very light poplin, so makes no real difference though. I don’t think a heavier shirt would work tucked.

Hope yours work out - the colour is great but really hard to capture on camera. The khaki will work better for me than the green with other stuff I’ve got (or might soon have 😉 but that’s a story for another day).

@Matt well done sir… assuming you sized down to a 32 for the snug waist?

Well, I now have both sizes and I think I know which way I’m jumping – see if you can guess 🙂 . Thanks to @JoshC for all his help behind the scenes!

Hope the pics might help anyone else who is between sizes.

@Matt @flannel-slut I’m going to go with the 34 as they feel so much better on. The legs are slightly trimmer on the 33 but the waist and top block on the 34 win.

I’m encouraged that Matt couldn’t tell which way I was going, but when I found myself wondering if I could sit comfortably with stuff in my pockets, the answer was clear 🙂

I definitely feel like they look better a size up! The 33s looked good but there's that little ripple at the top of the fly near the top button — that's always an indicator to me that a pair I'm wearing is a little small. Sometimes I ignore it, especially if a size up would be too big in other areas, but those 34s look like they solved all problems while still keeping a clean fit. Good job.

After sleeping on it I’ve decided mine need to go back as well. The waist isn’t measuring up as big as I’d hoped and I’ll be happier with a bigger size. I may even go for the 12 oz chinos instead. @ARNC thanks for helping me figure it out.

@Matt I thought yours looked good but I guess it depends on how they feel. To a degree, I think comfort is overrated but I know what wins if it comes down to a choice of looking good and breathing!

Maybe it all boils down to listening to @sabergirl. She always seems to be right about such things!
