There was a car accident on a highway in Georgia end of May. The police, EMT's tow truck crews were on site clearing things up. One lane was shut down, with travel slow going through, when a 21 yr old woman from Florida came speeding up on it, obviously distracted who came across a tow truck that had it's bed extended too load cars. She drove up on it , over it, flew 120 feet through the air, then landed on a car and her car rolled over a couple of time. Surprisingly, she survived. Is in serious condition in the Hospital. There is a clip of this, but I couldn't load it.

Number 1 thing I notice when riding my bike is the number of drivers carelessly using their phones when driving…

@goosehd I thought about that as well,due to having similar experiences when I was riding. Couldn’t believe how many times I saw people watching videos on their phones while they were driving.

I’m betting it was a phone too. Whether I’m walking or cycling, I look at what the driver is doing with their eyes before I look at their indicator lights. Much of the time, they’re not looking at the road, but down in their laps or at their dash somewhere.
