Been inspired by all you guys to get back into these and properly give them shit. First worn in early 2019 and then off and on when I could fit into them. Had em in the rotation for the last month or so and they’re probably due a wash in the next couple weeks. They’ve been washed 3x so far. I can finally see a little progress…

from my experience washing is needed to get good results.

Finished up my “Summer of 21L” experiment. Thanks to @Daniel-San and @T4920 for the washing regimen inspiration. The iPhone shots are definitely over saturated but you can get an idea of how much they changed. They had 3 washes when I started. Now they’ve been washed 17 times total…almost once a week. Great denim and hope it makes a comeback some day…

@SKT thanks for sharing, these have come out perfectly. Great to have a heavily faded pair in the rotation isn't it!? A pair that you don't mind getting dirty, cause what harm can another wash do...

@T4920 yeah absolutely! Now I’ve started wearing my UHR’s again and it will be strange to be a little more careful with washes.

@SKT haha you know I'm going through the same thing! I want to get to at least the end of November before my next UHR wash, and they're already looking a bit grubby..

I feel like I'm always trying to get through a good long slog of no washes before my first one, then I wash more regularly. In that first block I'm always trying not to get em too nasty because I don't wanna be forced into a wash, haha... after that benchmark though it's easy peasy. My 634XHSib are about to hit 180 wears this week, time for that wash.
