Anyone experience how the 14oz fades? I’m intrested in the broken twill, but never had a 14oz at least not from IH.

As the weather here is warming up, I might start to wear my 643's in 14 oz. But looking from the fabric, I can say that they should definitely fade faster than my 21 oz.

The 21 oz from my point of view are the roughest and toughest ones to show some fade. Seems like they take ages.

There are no fade-examples of our 14oz Broken Twill yet. What the various versions of the 14oz Right Hand Twill fade like are no indication of how the Broken Twill will fade.....

My first pair of 17oz natural denim did not fade quickly, the 555N I got last year, I seem to have blinked and missed the fade process and know they look pretty nice!

@Heavy_blue I have some 777S-142 and I’ve found them to be kind of hard to fade. Nothing like the 21L but still kind of stubborn. I’ll try and get a pic up in their thread sometime.

@SKT thank you. I, personally wasn't too happy with it. but coming off the UHR, it wasn't an unfair comparison..

These are the toughest jeans to fade but we’re made by the Works TW-634NSP. I’ve had these since 2016 worn them for about a year to work they just don’t fade but I still like them. Natural indigo hank dyed organic cotton.

Yeah these are hank dyed to and I had a look at one of the fibres and the natural indigo goes right the way through to the core.

No, it means that the hanks of denim are dunked in indigo (may be by hand, but not necessarily) and the fibres absorb the indigo, as opposed to the more normal method of indigo dyeing denim which is rope dyed, where the indigo oxidised to the surface and does not penetrate the core.
