I'd say it softened up a lot after a year of wear but it really came to life after a wash..

It is not 21oz, when we originally made this jacket, I did not specify which patch to put on it and I did not think of making a specific patch for the jacket, so we just used what we had used on our existing denim jackets, which at the time, were all 21oz.....
