They had this guy on the wall that tempted me but it was VG at best and priced a little too high

love that Rollins village vanguard album. also love the Bill Evans Trio "Sunday at the Village Vanguard" album. Really wish I could go back in time and just be a regular at that club in the late 50's/early 60's.

@chrisjohnnick with Wayne Shorter passing away recently Rollins might be one of the last remaining sax giants of that era.

I don't know enough of the back story on what the actual involvement of Brian Jones was though- maybe you can enlighten me?

I seem to remember there was a version of the cover that said brian Jones "with"...which was later covered with a sticker that said "presents"

Leads me to believe he had less involvement than originally expected
