I hope many of you are indeed feeling guilty looking at the latest playlist, although I find it hard to believe we will generate a more enjoyable list throughout the whole competition - game on!

I’ve used the iPhone app SongShift to transfer the playlist to Apple Music - 2 minute job.

Will you be voting for songs you like, regardless of your embarrassment level ? Or, will you be voting for songs you'd be genuinely embarrassed to like ?

@scooter I was thinking pretty much the same thing. I’m about halfway through after my morning commute and there’s a real mix of genius and nasty (sometimes both at once)!

For me, a "guilty pleasure" is something you enjoy despite it being from a source you might consider a bit dubious. The audio equivalent of a late-night doner kebab - delicious & enjoyable, but for some reason slightly shameful. I'm voting simply by how enjoyable I find the song, regardless of embarrassment in admitting I like said song.

The way I voted for the challenge was if I thought the song was something that is I felt was well-known and one "should" be ashamed to like--would your mates give you a good ribbing if it came on and you busted out a vocal or otherwise demonstrated anything but disdain for it? Nickelback, Britney Spears, etc.

Sometimes I like the song, sometimes I don't. But to me if voting is strictly based on what we like/dislike as opposed to how well it fits the challenge, this game will get old really fast.

I think we should add downvotes--if not possible for this round, perhaps for the next one. Thoughts?

other league I'm in has a minimum of 10 votes and 1 downvote per round. There are a couple people with like -3 as their total score after a couple
rounds. it's brutal but I like it.

I like the idea of downvotes. I also agree with McLain about how well a song fits the category being the focus for the vote. This particular category is a bit more ambiguous with the voting that way.

@Steve I couldn’t agree with you more! The music to this song was composed by Giorgio Moroder. If anyone doesn’t know who he is you’re in for a real treat. Considered the father of electrónica. Made some incredible electronic music in the 70’s. Also some highly regarded movie scores. This particular album is perfection. I’d recommend it on vinyl. It’s amazing!!
