@Salted-Racer I like your idea of a corduroy sherpa lined type 3 as well. The brown and beige color ways would be nice or maybe an olive or dark brown color would be cool too.

805's in 14oz? Or 17 or 18, or anything lighter weight. The 21oz are amazing obvs, but would love a lighter weight denim pair for the summer months.

                  Wants List:
                  IHSH-20-Red, XL
                  IHSH-208-Indigo Kersey, L-XL
                  IHSH-254-Grey Kersey, L-XL
                  IHSW-45 Black, M
                  IH-526SV 21oz type III, 38 or 40
                  IH-777S-SB size 32
                  IH-777S-142 size 31 or 32

How about a type iii Sherpa lined Corduroy jacket?

The 6526J-SP is my all-time grail! Black double-weave cord with black sherpa lining, and snap closure. Wish @Jestre would just give it up already. I’ll just keep poking every few years, in case. Especially now that double weave definitely can’t come back.

I’d love to see jackets and shirts be offered in a short version. Med Short, L Short, XL short etc. Sleeve and body lengths shorter. For us height challenged people.
Now that said, this is from a “Large” wearer, and I’ve never been disappointed with expectations re: sizing. At this point it’s almost an automatic buy. But man, if I ruled the world…. What a difference an inch would make on the sleeve and placket.

I've been wearing a reissued Wrangler, model 24mjz, made with selvedge one-wash denim, as-of-late. It was released during their 75th year anniversary in late 2022.

The mobility and comfort of the bi-swing gussets (with attached elastic) and front pleats alongside a front zipper makes this jacket an absolute winner and so comfortable to wear throughout the day. I can get in and out of my car without having to unbutton my jacket to accommodate my bulging midsection and I'm able to reach my arm towards the steering wheel without the movements pulling my shoulders forward or without my arm pulling itself out of the sleeve (which I dislike the feeling of when wearing jackets with shorter sleeve lengths). I even love that the cuffs are snap button which is far easier to operate than stud buttons as I can operate it one-handed.

Would be incredible to see this jacket designed by Iron Heart in the Work Jacket style (similar to IHJ-122-IND) being released this spring of 2023.

Having been on a denim spending spree in the last several years, I can honestly say that the 24MJZ is one of the best designed and comfortable jackets I've owned. It's so functional, practical, and stylish. It's hard for me to go back to jackets without the added mobility at this point.

Would love to own one made of Japanese, broken twill denim and with Iron Heart's capacity for quality-made items. Perhaps even better, a version made with overdyed or black denim, and contrast copper stitching. Tonal stitching would be cool too. Can't really go wrong.

The only category where I am not tempted in the IH shop is shorts. In particular non-denim, but heavy duty shorts, but somehow a bit more stylish. The 7.4oz Cotton Whipcord Camp Shorts are almost there, but not quite (look a bit too much like cargo pant cut-offs for my liking). I like the Rogue Territory Fatigue Shorts - Camel Canvas.. for example.
Below (last year in Joshua Tree), the kind of Fjallraven hiking shorts I want to replace with something IH 🙂

The Fjallraven ones are tough to beat. I almost daily wear my vidda pro (long cargos) for walking the dog. These things take a beating, have been washed hundreds of times and are still in perfect condition.

As someone who recently went backwards in time, I’ve begun keeping a day planner/bullet journal to help my brain focus on 1 task at a time. This has lead me down my rabbit hole of ditching apps and as such, I ended up purchasing two things I wish IH had some cool version of.

                                First - journal folio/cover
                                Second - pencil case.

For the cover - I wanted something I could beat up and toss around without worry a la Indiana Jones. The his lead me here first…traveling, motorcycles, journals all go together right?! Well. No. So off to etsy I went.

Second - the pencil case. Seems I had limited options here. I wanted something with holders and a zip. I have some nicer machined pens I’d rather not lose - only 1 fits in my work shirt pen pocket 😅. 95% of the options seemed to be made for children. Almost everything fabric was cheaply made or just a zip pouch that was too small.

My search lead me to this-

Ironheart Dopp kit- seasonal options of fabric for cheaper/smaller 1 zip. Leather a slightly larger kit with double zip/dual compartment.
I would totally buy a Wabash kit.

If not a direct pencil case made by IH - A could always use a Dopp kit as a dumping pouch but I like best and clean.

Ironheart journal cover - generic sized leather cover. Travelers/field notes/etc.

Journals and stationary are huge in Japan. Would be cool as hell to see a collab with a major pen/stationary company and IH.

@Autorotate The IH Crew are always happy to go through the stock and find you one with, say, the shortest sleeve or the shortest length if you order direct from IHUK and mention it in the order notes. There's minor size variation between every item in a line.

Generally though, I don't see this happening. The brand started as being built for bikers and Haraki-san likes longer sleeves so that they don't ride up when reaching forward to hold the handlebars.

                                  Take the dive...

There are some genuinely great ideas that come up every few years that we keep pushing for, but there is only so much capacity at the factories and mills for them to be made.

There are also a few eyebrow raising ideas that we all silently shake our head at, but for the most part a lot of them have great foundations for future items.
