IHSH-265-NAV - Ultra Heavy Flannel Ombré Check Work Shirt - Navy/Black
To a great extent, our ultra heavy flannel (UHF) shirts define Iron Heart: heavy, rugged, but amazingly wearable. The 12oz fabric is woven with Aspero cotton from the foothills of the Andes mountains. We double brush it on the inside and single brush it on the outside, resulting in a very soft yet substantial, thick, warm and windproof flannel. This shirt is a wardrobe staple - seen here in our work cut in navy/black ombré check.

Classic bad ass flannel. So happy to see this may be in continuous production.

@neph93 I'm interested in seeing more in-person pictures. I thought UHFs were not a good idea for LA, but I have found they are perfect "jackets" for around the house. I don't have any like this pattern, so, like you, it will be hard to pass up.

A few (four?) years ago the ombre pattern was done quite a lot by H. It took over from the buffalo check which had been omnipresent before that. There was grey/black, purple/black, red/black. They are really special. There is a depth and detail to the pattern that somehow resonates with the warmth and softness of the fabric. A perfect synthesis of the tactile and optical elements.

And of course, the "Piglet"…
