What are these flavour wise?

You may know it already as Persian cumin or caraway seed. Earthy, aromatic and similar to fennel seeds, but with a stronger taste of liquorice. They use it to flavour akevit and pickled herring up here.

Ah yes, caraway seeds - I use it with braised cabbage quite a bit to bring that to life a little

Same. They do really well in this paired with the mustard seed and contrasted with the sweetness of caramelised red onions and sweet potatoes.

Today I heard they're shutting down Liquor stores, so I did an inventory.  Received a case of Rombauer Zinfandel, one of my favorites.
