Ugh, this was not on my radar and definitely not in the budget!

What does moleskine feel like?  Pretty weather proof?

I have the one from last year. It's an absolute favorite of mine. I wish I could scoop this one up, too.

In terms of weather proof, it wouldn't be something I'd wear in the rain, but I'd say it's pretty windproof. Is that what you're wondering, @Paul9221?

Yeah, I guess I wanted to make sure it's not like suede which doesn't handle water well.

Feels and looks a lot like velvet. I assume it can handle rain, but I'm not sure. I live in Los Angeles and don't have occasion to test the rain wear.
