Does anyone know who runs that account? I would think they would be active on this forum also…
The account is run by people working for Iron Heart Japan on the retail side. The mothership in other words. They are not on this forum, none of the .jp crew are. They are not in the business of bullshitting about this kind of thing either.

I just noticed they were literally identical..
They are not «literally» identical, they are similar. The similarities you hightlight can be counterbalanced bybthe differences. The tears at the crotch for example. Also all my top blocks have essentially the same wear patterns, regardless of cut.

That's the thing about denim fades. They are personal to the wearer. A few years ago, I posted anonymously somewhere the fading of a pair of my Flatheads. I was outed because people could tell they were my jeans because of the stark similarities between the fades on the Flatheads and the fades on my known Iron Hearts. @swiss-jeansfreak has examples in his museum of multiple pairs of jeans worn by the same person with almost identical fade/wear patterns….

If there was any doubt at all about the authenticity then that would be be the best course of action. They are one of the social media outlets of the brand and therefore a public face of it. As stated earlier (albeit a in a sweary British way @Oaktavia [emoji1]), they do take this stuff seriously.

Better safe than sorry is always a smart way to proceed. at the end of the day it was still a sweet pic of some cool fades[emoji41] regardless of same pair or different.

i think we can all agree that it's a beautiful pair of XHS though!
personally, i do not believe that with equal wear XHS & XHSib will become identical in appearance/color.

Thanks @hoppy_IPA! I'll admit i'm a bit crazy when it comes to staring at beautifully faded denim and after looking at them for a few minutes it became clear they were the same pair.. And again to be totally clear, I was in NO WAY trying to cause a fuss, I just happened to notice that the two pairs were the same. I wish now i would've not said anything because i feel like i caused a stir over nothing
