Very nice @Diego very nice indeed. I'm a bit jealous of everyone who can rock 555's and this denim is fantastic.

These are gonna take some work. 1 day wear, post hot soak.

Need hammer the hell out of them, to achieve that look. That only way.

Just tried my pair on, my fourth pair of 25 IH 25 oz and these are in a different league in terms of stiffness. The buttons especially are almost impossible to button up. I tried buttoning up the jeans before putting them on and it was almost impossible.

I’ve got a 15 hour flight from London to Taiwan next week and am considering breaking them in on this long flight however I haven’t soaked them yet and I’m not sure how my circulation in the legs will hold up.

Interesting the variation in folks experience with this batch of XHS. Some people find it tougher than the standard, others not so much. It would be interesting to know how much of a difference the dying process makes.

I cheated with this pair and used a set of reverse pliers to stretch the button holes. Lazy, but effective, and they’ve been fine since. I find otherwise that the denim is slightly softer and more supple than standard but that the break-in seems to be taking longer.

idk about regular xhs, but these are easier than pih5dct to wear however fades are taking longer to show up.

Bravery, or deep vein thrombosis….....it’s a mighty long journey even allowing for the 4 hour lay over in HK. I’ve just soaked them this morning, hoping they will soften up a little

I would wait at leat six months before soaking. Or maybe be longer and then give it soaks

Don’t wear uncomfortable clothes on a 14 hour flight. That’s crazy. You have plenty of time to break them in.

This sounds like an awful, terrible idea. As if plane rides weren't already terrible.

I can tell you, you're not gonna get much, if any, "breaking-in" sitting on a plane for an extended period of time.

That sounds like the worst way to break in a pair of jeans.
Best way is to move in them. Not much moving on a plane.

I didn't know they are also being sold in Japan so I hope they are popular enough to warrant a rerun alongside its 888 counterpart.
