I have 4x 25oz pronto 2x 25oz in the 777. Now these 555 25oz are fit right tighter, but will not soak or wash yet.. gonna break them, in my opinion i think it will need water at some point or they may end with jeans crotch blowout. I think the problem might be going for true waist size which might make the thigh little tight, but if you size up the tight will be baggy.

I also own 3 pairs of 25OZ denim,but unlike Mustafa911,I wash mine about every 10 days,without any problems. Like they say your jeans/your rules.

I soak after six month then every fours week, for two years in 25oz in 777 not machine  wash them yet. Maybe later, still going strong.

I have these in the 888 sample and I didn’t find the 25 oz painful. Hot as hell in the summer and that was rough but not painful. I think the UHR was more uncomfortable to bust than these

So the consensus seem to be no initial soaks (unless you wanna die), and soak/wash to your preference.

Getting mine on monday so we'll see how they fit right out of the bag.

Hot soak if you want  to get shrinkage out. I don’t think soaking will do much to soften them.

I'm going to try them on, check the fit, take measurements and soak if needed. Otherwise they're staying put for the time being.

Let put this way I am gone for true size and happy with the fitting and will break these in and give cold soaks and cold machine wash later on [emoji4]

Just received mine and all I can say is ‘Amazing’! Great fit, and I’m glad i persevered with the 555 cut after two pairs that didn’t fit. Perfect example of why you should measure and then measure again. Had the 555 in the 18oz and despite every measurement working, the thoughts were a tad off and I couldn’t make them work. But these beauties are amazing. Will get a bath tonight and then hopefully a hen at some point.
