Just came across this treasure. I need a belt for it now. Any suggestions on a good thick belt blank out there that would do it justice?

I don’t know where you could get a good one, but I feel pretty confident in saying that going to a local leather worker or maybe even a tack shop would be the best place to get the heaviest leather. That way you might also be able to get a say in the leather they use, and the finish. Stitching or Chicago screws or whatever.
