The 555 has a much higher rise which ended up to big for me after some wear and stretch.555 has a higher rise and roomier top block for sure.

Post soak Pics, About 2/2,5 months of wear, 1 initial machine wash and right after the second soak. Surprised how fast these fade…

As @Illo59 wrote, the UHR denim fades incredibly fast.
These are mine. 75 days of wear, 2 initial washes. (Sorry for the crappy quality)
PS: Last month I wore them for moving into a new flat and some minor renovation work. Beside that I have mainly worn them in the office.

Both pairs looking great. UHR does fade quickly. My 888-UHR have 74 wear days on them and are comparable to these pairs.
EDIT: Very quick and dirty iPhone pics in a badly lit kitchen, but you get the point. These haven’t been used for anything other than going to work at a high school and hanging on the weekend.

And yeah, i was a little lazy in writing. Worn them ca 60-70 days but i missed some days in my count… and yeah i pretty much try to wear them for everything - Just living in them, not baby-ing them and not making rocket science out of raw denim and washing.
I'm playing with my 4 months old son on the ground, riding bike to work... I'm working as a social worker in families with little children, means, playing with them too is part of my job, mostly on playgrounds etc.
Also i was helping some friends move-in to new flats and my wife forced me to set up a lot of baby-ikea-stuff and re-organize our flat and cellar haha... I'm surprised myself. Gotta admit that wearing the same pair without rotation everyday helps also and as you pointed out, that denim is very fade friendly, heavy and abrasive. Yours and @don_pipone pairs are a bit better than mine but they’re all just a work in progress.
The UHR is splendid stuff and it is a shame it’s extinct. I’ll be interested to see if Haraki-san ever revisits loomstate, fast fading, heavy denim in the future.
