IHUK do not operate a pre order system for any items. You can register your interest and get notifications, but you have to be around when they drop or risk missing out. Same goes for the work shirt when that arrives. Good luck!

We release stuff that we think will sell fast at 16:00 GMT.  That is 11:00 on East coast USA and 08:00 on the West coast USA  (not sure where the 5:53 am came from - unless you are in Hawaii, I guess).

The work shirt is not in this exact fabric, it is the same weave, but lighter in hue.

We don't do pre-pay or pre-orders.  The simple fact is, until we get them here, measure them and publish those measurements, you don't actually know what tag size you will need….

Unfortunate you missed this one, it can be an a battle to get some of the popular items when they go live.  I'm not sure where you're getting the 5:53am from either, they go live at 16:00 GMT as has been stated and that's a perfect time to try and please everyone IMO.  I'm in Arizona and that's 9am AZ time.

I believe SelfEdge is getting these too so you will still have a very good chance of getting one there when they get them in.

I would assume fairly soon, if you can’t get it there, there are a ton of other retailers taking them. Mildblend is an outfit in Chicago where you probably would have some luck.

I was asked this question overnight.

For such a popular item, why were so few of the indigo check westerns stocked?

My response

_We knew they would be popular, but 6 months ago when we had to predict what the demand would be like and get the fabric made we had no idea that they would be as popular as they proved to be.

It's easy to say, after the fact, "why did we not order more" (and I have been saying that for the last 4 months), but once we have made the commitment we can't change our order because we only make enough fabric for the orders we have received.

I can 100% guarantee you, that there will be another item (or items) from the SS18 collection that we all thought would fly off the shelves, that we will just not sell in the quantities we thought.

I promise you, I wish we could get it right every time.

But at the end of the day, it is us who has to make the guess, make the commitment and pay for the stuff, so there is always a tendency to err on the side of caution._

In fairness to IHUK, it seemed you guys ordered a few more of the popular sizes than you have done with the big, attractive UHF releases in the past? There were more than 9 XL’s at 1600 yesterday, and that’s unusual.

Good thing work shirts are (generally) less popular. I possibly see the IHSH-201 in my future.

^ The IHSH-201 is lovely. I’m going to struggle not to buy… personally I prefer work shirts in the warmer months as I think they work better worn relaxed (rolled up sleeves, open neck) than westerns do. The colour on the work shirt is also knock out.

It's a pretty loud shirt and, if you decide after seeing a couple fitpics that it is for you, there's enough stockists out there that it shouldn't be a problem to track down.
