Update - will be with us Monday now, weather dependent. UPS in the UK, along with the rest of the country, cannot deal with cold weather or snow.
Apparently, half the shelves at supermarkets are empty as people stock up for the two day 'onslaught' of a bit of wind and an inch or two of snow in Gosport

Sounds like the south US Giles. Every time it even threatens to snow, everyone is scrambling around like they're preparing for the end of days.
