Josh from iron shop provisions did a video recently comparing those two sizes in case you haven't seen it. I'd also think the smaller size would look more balanced.

@pechelman I looked at a comparison in the Shazam pendant thread and they actually look pretty similar in size so the smaller seems like the smart buy. I’ll check out that video though, thanks!

@Anesthetist The crown isn't very high but the hats do tend to run on the smaller size. As a person with a well endowed melon, I ended up having to give my hat to my wife.

@Clint_D thank you, my problem is although I have a 7 3/8 head, it is oblong. Hats tend to be tight front and back but have slack along the sides

Thank you brother. I had the same thought initially. In the end I figured go big or go home and I’m happy with the heft of the 10. Everyone I see at the barbershop has the smallest chains so it also helps me feel like I’m repping the heavy ounce lifestyle more appropriately.
