Nice looking fade.  Can't really tell, is that the military serge shirt?  Looking like a black IHSH-16 (or a number of other black western….).

Certain black dyes do "fade" to brown in the sun.  Our superblack definitely does…..

Is this alright to throw in the wash? Or will it marble like SBG?

soak it before washing, make sure it’s completely wet .
low or no spin and turn inside out .
if you do so , there should be no "problems "
at all .

@trvn17 not marble per se, but supposedly serge can react quite unpredictably when washed. I've seen some people report a sort of rusty discoloration (not necessarily a bad thing) and others a substantial level of fading around the seems and high tension areas. My IHSH-235 remains unwashed after almost a year, but I'll be pre-soaking beforehand and washing inside out when the time comes as I wanna maintain a fresh look. If you're all about that vintage, worn in look you can afford to be a little less precious with how you wash it. It's gonna remain a beautiful shirt regardless, so no need to over think things.

@trvn17 whatever works for you! I personally love that crispy stiffness but I can see how it could be off-putting for some people.

Needed a black shirt, and have gone with the serge - very crispy, but feeling bullet-proof! Think I checked every measurement on every black shirt, at least twice, but the think the fit is about spot on for what I was after.

Edit: should add for reference, this is an XXL - I am 188cm and just over 200lbs.
