Was going to wait until NYE to start on these bad boys, but they got their first official wear today. They feel a little smaller in the top block and slimmer in the thigh than my standard pair, but that could just be me filling them out more.
Looking good @neph93 I had that feeling with the top block as well. They relaxed and streched as usual.

Honestly I did too. Tightest pair I’ve had since my first pair of DC4001. After some wear they are perfect.

I’ll reach the 100 wear-days mark at the end of December as fades are starting to appear; whiskers on the front pockets and some nice honeycombs on the back.
I’ll post some pics before and after the first hand wash, probably in early Jan.

Wishing I would have bought these. They were in my cart but I was being frugal. Now that I'm convinced the 633 is the perfect cut for me and the 634 is its close cousin I feel I have missed out.

One of these days I will pick a pair up. But I currently have a pair of The Strike Gold 7104 that I received for Christmas and a pair of 555 SBG that I'm working on.
And there is the small matter of what fabric in the 634 (or 633 for that matter) would I choose. Too many options - not enoug legs.

No it does not. Haraki moved heaven and earth to get the ones we released in The West ready to release at the anniversary party. He could not make any for Japan at the time because it would have risked us not getting them. So he's righting that wrong.

Finally wore these today for the first real time. Picked them up at the 20th anniversary party and knew at the time that they wouldn't get worn for a bit, as I planned on spending the remainder of the year breaking in my 666XHS and 666SII exclusively.
Was going to hold them for indigo invitational, but I don't have the patience to document regularly with photos and submit everything, so decided to just get them started on 1/1/23 and have a nice clear starting point that I can easily remember. Planning on wearing them every day and seeing how they break in. Loving these so far!

@chrisjohnnick very similar story here (party purchase, start delayed to 2023, immediate love) but sadly every day wear is not an option for me. Enjoy yours - I'll be following at some distance

100 wear days, first hand-wash in lukewarm water, with mild detergent and sanitizing liquid.
No rinse, no tumble dry; jeans took two whole days to throughly dry in and out
No noticeable shrinking, no visibile loss of indigo compared to previous days.
The embossed cordovan patch lost some depth, though.I’m developing some whiskers and back fades, next to no knee combs.
Let’s see in another 100 daysThe 634 cut is extremely comfortable for my body type in the top block, while I prefer a slimmer leg size, like my 888.
I’d like to try the 666 cut out in the upcoming summer.

I’d like to try the 666 cut out in the upcoming summer.The 666 is the best of both worlds- slim and straight. I wish I had chosen that cut more often than others, I love the 666 and recommend it.
