They did a deck coat once, and it’s a cult classic for some—but was a poor seller at the time. Maybe try a post in WTB? https://www.ironheart.co.uk/forum/index.php?PHPSESSID=s55bhaokfjlo6m339nejrovhh4&topic=8265.0

This is an awesome cool jacket!

I would really like to have the same cool warm jacket, made of the same materials, but longer.
In such a short jacket, you can only drive a car or walk when it is not very cold and windy.
It is cold in Russia in winter and the optimal jacket length for the city is up to the middle of the thigh, like M65, but a little longer.

It would be great if IH does something similar next winter!

The M-51 Parka is a great mid thigh coat with a lot of room for layering. I pop my primaloft vest under it and I’m golden.

@Monk thanks man killer fit on yours!  Sleeves are a bit long but I’m gonna go with it

Better to have them a hair too long than too short for a winter coat IMO.

I agree 💯, more wear I get they are seeming to set in a bit which is awesome.  I couldn’t be happier with the fit

Got mine today, from Berkeley Supply. Bought it in Large and that was a perfect choice. This jacket is great. For sizing comparisons, I'm an American sized non-slim medium, wear a large UHF, and an XL (42) in the Type 3 Modified and the Storm Rider jackets. Large fits me great, over a UHF, and sleeve and shoulders are perfect. Jacket is just absolutely excellent.

I am these same sizes and picked up a large as well!  What is your height and weight if you don't mind my asking?

Awesome same here except with average-ish arms - haha.  Thanks!

Been wearing this most days since I got it. Fit is great over a nice shetland sweater. Denim is the 21oz IH 1955 cuts. Shoes are my ll bean rubber mocs, which folks anywhere outside of the Northeastern US will probably roll their eyes at.

Just received mine today, but sadly it's a bit too snug in the chest :(. Hopefully the Large won't be too big/boxy.

Bad news for me will hopefully be good news for one of you…if anybody's still in search of the elusive size Medium I'm going to be sending one back to Iron Shop Provisions.

                        Cheers!

I purchased my Medium from ISP also and it fits perfectly. Just curious what is your build? I am 5'10" 168lbs and I can put an IH Thermal Henley or flannel underneath. I have a friend debating between Large and Medium and every data point helps:)

Fit looks good on ya! I’m 5’11, 180lbs, 42ish chest. I’d rock the medium if I only planned on wearing a tee, but living in Chicago I need some space for layering

Thanks, man! I am really happy with the jacket. I live in Colorado, but tend to run hot so anything more than a thermal tee underneath and I start melting:) Hopefully the Large will work well for you…keep us all posted!

That was the biggest surprise when I received mine. I have the classic N1 Deck Jacket from IH and the volume of the pockets is nearly double in the Oiled Whipcord version. You can extend your hands all the way to the midline (zipper)…total game changer!
