Considering this.

"Measurements for raw denim garments are pre-soak (allowance must be made for shrinkage)."

Would this mean soaking the shirt upon arrival in an effort to shrink to fit? Any advice is appreciated.

its not raw , like it says in the details :
One-washed, so little or no shrinkage to be expected with gentle washing.
washed mine a few times with 40 degrees. no noticable shrinking .
