Snagged one! Ordered an XXXL for the first time. I'm usually an XXL but the shoulder measurements were pretty slim on this one.

I was going to size up too but ended up sticking with my usual large and hoping for a p2p of over 22”. My concern with an XL was with sleeve length and overall length. I don’t think I could have gotten the shrink I would have needed to make it work. We’ll see how the L works.

I was going to size up right too but ended up sticking with my usual large and hoping for a p2p of over 22”. My concern with an XL was with sleeve length and overall length. I don’t think I could have gotten the shrink I would have needed to make it work. We’ll see how the L works.

I hear ya. I'm relatively tall. 6'4" so most of the other measurements on the XXXL look good. I told the guys to find me one with a shoulder 19.5 to 20inches. Can't wait for this one to come in! Really digging the pearl snaps on this one.

Just out of curiosity - what's the reason for the differences in size between UHFs? Why wouldn't you always use the same cutting patterns?  ???

They do. But these are not cut by CNC and are sewn together by real people. So differences with iterations occur.

Even in mass production clothing there are differences between units, The Gap just doesn’t post detailed measurements that expose it.

So the difference are not significant in my opinion.

I think. Have just under 20 IH shirts correctly.  5 or 6 UHF.  All medium.  I don’t even look at the size chart.

Same. I’m XL in just about everything. The occssional aberration does occur, but IHUK flags it when it happens.

All my shirts are larges except for two mediums that are sized more like cpo’s. Agree that IH sizing is remarkably consistent given it’s actually made by human beings.

I have 8 IH shirts all XXL and all have right around 20inch shoulders. The shoulder measurements on this one surprised me. I've also found the shoulder measurement is a big factor in the actual shirt length when worn.

@the246guy The XXL shoulder measurements are too small. The chart says 18.9 which scares me a bit.

This has absolutely spoiled me and I don’t think I could ever go back to the sizing model of other makers.
