Well folks, I’m back. Logged on last night for the first time in weeks.

I knew when I started missing the forum a fortnight ago I was improving, but held off a little longer to get myself in the best possible shape for a return.

The truth is, I’ve been pretty ill. As many of you know I was hospitalised in June, and was a little too eager to get back to life, resulting in more illness. Admitting I needed a proper break and realising I couldn’t make the party was really painful and difficult to accept, but I did and I’m feeling much better as a result.

Thank you all for the kind words. The lasting sadness of missing meeting friends old and new is mitigated by this love.

Hi Reuben, I'm so glad to hear that you're feeling better and back on the forums. You were greatly missed at the party by those who have met you in person already, and there were lots of stories from people (like me) that have only interacted with you on these pages and had hoped to meet you. Definitely lots of love going your way, whether you can put faces to all of our names/forum handles or not!

Can't wait for the next party and hoping that we can both make it and meet you in the flesh.
