@Giles and @Madame Buttonfly Is it OK to arrive outside IH HQ by car, at say 8.30 on Friday, and leave the car there until departure on Sunday?
@Jeansman - would be fab to see you, there is plenty of parking outside the office but it's limited to 4 hours for visitors, so we are working with the managing agents to either grab some additional parking permits, or allocated spaces (we may need to ask for car registration numbers) so rest assured we should be able to work this out).

I'm coming with my VW Camper Bus. Was planning to park on the square in front of the office and also sleep in there. Will that be ok, do I need any permit?

@Madame Buttonfly Likewise for me too please. Apparently I cannot check into the Premiere Inn until 3pm. I was planning on ringing them as I get to Gosport to see whether that's actually the case on the day, but if I cannot check in until the mid afternoon I was hoping I could park at the shop for a few hours on the Saturday, then going to check in and drop the car in the mid-afternoon and taxi-ing back.
Oh, and to the other party attendees: I'll be driving down on the Saturday from Cheltenham, via the A419 and M4. If anyone is coming from those parts or on my way, and wants to car pool, hit me up. Also happy to lift people to the Premiere Inn on Fareham Road in Gosport if I cannot check in earlier and have to do the mid-afternoon check-in run.

think most of the time, they'd let you check in early if they have available rooms. then again, first in best dressed situation.
if anyone is sleeping outside IH office. just make sure you're sober enough to keep watch.. it's gosport after all

@endo @EdH - @Alex is liaising with the local parking management agency and once we know exactly what the situation is in terms of allocated spaces and/or permits we'll let everyone know, can see no reason why sleeping in a camper van should be a problem.
So check back here, and also we'll email everyone about a week before the event with final details of timings, parking etc.
It's getting close, we're all getting excited…

If anyone has not yet booked a place to stay, Shane from Iron Heart Germany has a spare double room booked (he booked two, now just needs one) at the Gosport Travelodge for Saturday night only. If anyone wants this, please PM me so he can transfer it to your name rather than risk the rate increasing if he cancels and they resist it online.
