Hey Mike. I know I’ve gotten them to shrink up a bit. I know Matt got a very stretched to hell pair from me haha. I wouldn’t expect too much shrink from the original, it’s just mostly after you stretch them out, they can get back to close to where they came from. Hope this helps. They do have some mad stretch in the waist though

@Oaktavia I have no idea when or if that store is going to ship those suspenders. So I got some other ones in the meantime that are made in Vermont. They are very 'over-engineered' (you can see the 2" wide straps and extra large powder coated hardware). They work very well and ane very comfortable.

I like them a lot.  Yeah I had to go with blue. If I can convince myself that they don't look completely ridiculous I would definitely get a black pair from the same manufacturer.

Initial waist 34.7”
Pre-wash - 36”
Post wash - 35”

Solid inch of play to be had even with my own measurements not being 100%

I had gotten the cuffs on these all muddy so I hand washed just the cuffs and then soaked them boiling water for sort of an experiment and they shrunk quite a bit. The opening went from a hair over 8.5" down to about an 8.2". Very interesting. The denim is now incredibly stiff where they were wet so I presume they will relax back out a tiny bit.

These are more absorbent than the 19 oz leftists… They only got about a 30 minute soak and then this happened.

So I panicked and ran cold water on the patch. It washed off the cool indigo patina the patch had and will probably only darken it. Hopefully it won't brown and crack.

Peak water temperature was 159° according to the infared thermometer
