@mclaincausey Not too sure what you mean but if it is the below then the text in bold is a header to the sizing chart which does not change when you switch from inches to cm. We don't normally mention units of measurement in this header which is why it may seem abnormal, if it is something else that I missed, do let us know!

Is it fair to say that the waist measurement will go back to pre soak measurement with wear, or the shrinkage is more permanent. I have no experience with this particular fabric so i want to make sure i size correctly.

@yannis Any area that is under "tension" @mclaincausey will stretch back out (waist).  Calves, thighs, length, will not.

Pulled the Trigger

Hi everyone.
I also pulled the trigger at size 31. My first pair of UHR so hope I did it right. I measured my 634-21 size 33 the “Iron Heart way” and also checked size charge. Same waist if the UHR 31 stretch back out after soak with wear.

I'm a nut and always sit in a hot tub (not a hottub) for 22 mins.or more, moving my legs a bunch yet not bend the knees too much,  with all my other brands non-washed, loomstate, shrink to fit denim.
Then, a slight towel dry whilst wearing them, over to the computer to do some work, seated, knees only slightly bent, then go for a walk, wear them all day until they are dried /molded on me ! Now that I've got a bike Usually go for a ride too, dries them nicely.
I pay attention to the pre-soak measurements as this seems what they will stretch back out to.
This crazy way has given me the best fits for sure !!
