I got invited back to Seen.. Tareq had a special treat for me, as Eid was approaching
For a special pair of JMM’s
I was curious to know, so I went.Soon as I got there they greet like am one of their loyal customers..
Show me the pair, I was what is that.He said this is a special pair.. 150 pair made. Wanna keep it offline cause it will sell in 5 minutes and sell to someone special.
I look at them I was like wow, what a piece of art, the writing was in Japanese…
I thought hope these work for me.
Soon as I try them on, they were unsuitable for me. Even they are honest with what suits me or not..
Now 8th pair trigger
Soon as I walk in I saw a pair of Molino black fades… at first
I try them on, I said I wouldn’t mind having this pair too..
They had on green lens..
they look the business..I said I wish they was frost blue lens…
The guy called Nick did his magic got frost lens by JMM swap them over..
I was like hell yeah…
Along the way I had some fun too

Really excited, hope it will not take ages to arrive from the StatesI hope the seller included the right documentation. You need a "drop ball test" to import glasses into the US. It's been a huge pain in the a$$ each time I bought a pair from abroad.

That’s what my bad experiences are with USPS .
2-3 weeks are normal with USPS , tracking lost almost all the time and so on . They suck ! -

curious about what this was so I looked it up. I'm shocked that there are legislations regarding everyday glasses and sunglasses.. wow.

Interesting @JDelage … were any of the glasses produced by an American company like JMM? I've wondered if there was any downside to ordering a pair of JMMs from, say, End Clothing or somewhere else that had a particular pair I wanted in stock. So basically... if a pair is produced by a US company, shipped to a European retailer, then purchased by an American buyer, I wonder if it has to then pass the drop test

Yep. Depending on cases I have either sought and obtained a certificate (from JMM) or wrote one myself (they just need a "certificate" to release the watch. They don't care if you fill the form yourself.) For RX frames, I have requested the seller send the frames without the placeholder lenses, and mark the package as "glass frames with no lenses". That has worked too.
