Lol a little light reading eh, @Matt ?
I've been reading Epictetus. Digging him.
Good times chatting with y'all today! I'll be on next time again for sure, provided I'm not out of town or something else I've forgotten about.

Damnit damnit damnit, move had me all out of sorts and I missed another. I'm so bummed

Sorry you couldn't make it. How are you settling in to your new place?

my bad, totally forgot about this one.

I had a fantastic time as anticipated.
@neph93 you’ll need to do some light reading of you want to pholosophize with me in September…
It will probably not surprise you that I am familiar with the modern nihlists. I can see the logic and appreciate the posistion, but there’s too much beauty in the world for me to subscribe to that way of thinking. Although it does remind me of one of my favourite poems… which may or may not be taken seriously. I’d imagine @ARNC is familiar with a bit of Larkin. Thhe while poem is rather pertinent to our conversation the other night @goosehd

I love that poem so much. Really one of the most accurate pieces of writing I've ever encountered in life, haha…
Also love Poetry Foundation. What a treasure, that site.

And let me add that I as well agree that there's a lot of beauty in life, and I very much love kids (even though I have none).
But that poem's a gem.
