I figured but I’m conditioned from years of only looking at the p2p and shoulder measurements of mediums on those charts.  The rest of the chart could be small pics of butts and I wouldn’t notice.

Having worn earlier, I can confirm the accuracy of 'super soft 100% merino wool' those more daring could get away without an undergarment. Depends on your chafing threshold I suppose

Oh I’m sure they are wonderful. I have lots of merino wool undershirts. I was thinking more of avoiding bodily odours sitting in the fabric.

A dilemma ( not over buying I’m buy it it) over sizing. I pretty much only have westerns which I am increasingly an xl in - recent purchase of the ombré red uhf and hickory stripe are both good fits close in xl. When I compare the sizing other than length / sleeve length a bit on the shoulders they track more to large in this. The agony of indecision this is producing! Is anyone else having this or should I be embracing the work xl?
