Worn for six months then soak
Soaks before wearing them, that what prefer I to do all the time.
Colour comes out better looks far better.

I would think you’ll be safe with the length. I hot soaked and hot tumble dried mine and I don’t think they shrunk all that much in the length. I can measure if you like.
If you would do that I would really appreciate it. Washing (machine?) and tumble-drying would, in my opinion, be the ultimate predictor and tester of shrink.
. The actually shrank a little more than I had,originally thought about 1.5 inches.

If your washing regime is 30-40C with low spin (which it should be imho), then you will lose an inch maximum, probably less. Higher temps, higher spin, tumble drying, will result in more.
You can also mitigate leg shrinkage by giving the inseams a sustained tug (ooh, vicar), while the jeans are drying.

. American guy, here, trying to figure out 30-40C….LOL. Let me see. 30X1.8+32=86F. 40X1.8+32=104F. So 86-104F, okay got it!

Generally speaking a "warm" setting on a typical US washing machine runs between 90-110d F. Hot is considerably hotter–-about 130d. So basically you want to wash your jeans in cold water (between 60-80d F) if you don't want shrinkage.

@Lowlander absolutely beautiful fades. I switched over to the 777 version and have some work to do! It's hard choosing between XHSbb and my PIH5DCT…I just love them all.

I hear you man! I have a bunch of pairs in rotation as well, which makes it hard to achieve good fades on any of them quickly. However, in the winter months I wear mostly these, which has been paying off.

It's nice to have differences in seasonal temps and humidity. That way, its XHS in winter and 21oz & lighter in summer. It's 3 winter jeans and 2 summer jeans for me. Woo!

I also really like the way these are developing. It's definitely a lot of fun to experience the dramatic fading potential of this denim. And there's still lots of life left in these jeans. I don't think I'm even halfway yet!

After going back and forth between the 555 and 777 finally decided on these with a slight size down and I couldn’t be happier! Thanks Josh and iron heart crew! Obviously my pup isn’t as stoked as I am

Congratulations on that great score. I have been more or less like this, going back and forth between 555 and 777 and ended up with the 666, which seems to be the fit that I like.

. Haha! I did a similar thing, except I bought a pair of the 666,777, and 555. Yes, a ton of money, but I fell in love and couldn't decide.
