Long arms on IH shirts is pretty normal. I flip the cuffs on denim shirts and roll flannels etc. But I generally don't like having my forearms covered.

Some people have been known to do a hot soak on the arms alone. Can't remember if it worked, @Filthy?

Oh sorry I missed the tag notification here, I was in training all day…

I've cut a hole in a plastic bag and pulled just the sleeves through (suspending the shirt over the hot water by hanging the bag on something above) and soaked in boiling water before and got a little shrink. I don't know if it would be enough to warrant all the trouble. Now I just size up and hot wash my UHFS and then run threm through the dryer to get the right sleeve length. You might be able to hot soak the sleeves and then blow a hair dryer or space heater on them to get about a half an inch of shrinkage. @Briangouliquer

Even running through the dryer, I do not think you would get more than 3/4" of shrinkage vertically. I usually try and get the width of the cuffs to shrink, if that makes sense.

@Matt You’re on a tear!  I’d offer but I’m certain that Missouri is a downgrade from New Mexico and I’ve got two kids about your girl’s age so it wouldn’t offer the calm and serenity you might be needing. Someone is bound to take you in!

It was totally worth it.  Two of the shirts are grail shirts for me.  I even convinced the wife they were early Father’s Day gifts so I only have to hide the other two from her.  I consider it a win.

Is this one going to be restocked?! I was scared to pull the trigger on this one and I’m really regretting it! Also, does anyone that owns the 309 also the 231? I love the weave and feel of the 231 and really hope this one feels similar… they seem to have a kinda similar weave.

ombré is not my favourite UHF pattern but in purple … maybe the
first ombré for me then

I had the large that recently got added in my cart, got nervous about wearing a purple shirt and bailed on it. It sold immediately! Now I really wish I would have bought it… I can pull off a purple shirt! What was I thinking?

It’s here and it only took 28 days via Royal Mail from London to New Mexico. I half expected the envelope to be covered in stamps and stickers like in a Loony Toons cartoon.  I’ll get some photos up when I’m properly dressed. The girls and I are all in quarantine.  I’ll shower eventually.
