Been thinking about this one — @Giles how warm would you say this is? Like a proper cold weather jacket, or leaning a little lighter than that?

This is pretty damn warm - I wore it in ~5 degrees celsius with a high wind over a shirt and tee and found it warm enough. Obviously that is not the coldest weather in the world, but it doesn't get much colder than that in the UK frequently

I have worn the previous iteration of the sample (quilt lined, not blanket lined) in snow/rain/high winds) and found it more than adequate. Again, UK weather….
