I'm kind of torn between my usual XL or sizing down to a L on this one.

The L is perfect for me.  That's my standard UHF.

I was eyeing the western but the sleeves came out a bit too long for me.

Thinking about making this my first work shirt, have 3 westerns at this point. Anything I should know in regard to sizing? I plan on using measurements from my best fitting IH western.

Main thing is they tend to be a boxier fit, opposed to the more tapered fit on a western

Jepp. Often a little shorter and the waist measurements are wider.  I take XL in both, some people get away with sizing down in the workshirt. That seems to be dependent on body type.

Thought my mind was made up on the Western.  Ended up going with the workshirt version after all.  Quite the surprise twist. 

It's only 10 am and my day's already peaked.

Never thought I'd join a clothing chat forum, but here I am!! Been waiting on this Crazy Check yellow UHF to come out and snagged both the western (XL) and the work shirt (L) to try on. Gonna send the other one back that I don't keep…anyone else ever go that route to get the fit right? I know it cost money to return the shipping, but i'm pretty new to the IH game so I think it will be worth it. So far I wear a Large in the IHSH 33B and that fits perfect!!
