How flattering considering I’m always covered in dust and who knows what ???
@Aetas Does that mean you’ll surprise them with a pair of their own?
-
Thanks everyone.
Good weather this morning. We hiked to the Hohensyburg ruins and it’s nearby monument.
View of the river Ruhr… and industry locations nearby ;).
The Edelweiss patch lived in the gunpocket during RoundI. Exchanged it with this fresh made souvenir medal.

Awesome pics @Aetas spend some years of my childhood in this area… had my first days on ski in the Rhoen
Beautiful to hear @Chap !
We started on the most southern mountain in Biosphere Reserve RHOEN.Then we entered the midlands of RHOEN.
Mate is pointing towards our first mountain … Alps are 400km far off
So we oriented north. High RHOEN
Some sommerskiliftpics of the Kreuzberg will follow soon after 8).

After three days of sleeping outdoors without a tent, I agreed to an hotel in Bad Kissingen, one of the Great Spas of Europe
::).
In between absolute rejection of this place, I was lost in contemplation….

Last day of this trip. Hiked around the mountain Kreuzberg (900m).
Not the center of the Dark Sky Reserve Rhoen, but we expected to see some stars without rain there ….Litter and meagre meadows on 900m
… it definitely was a nice bed @Giles
.
Temperature went down from 19C to 10C.
There was always a small breath uphill, followed next morning by a cloud cover.
Normally I stuff the backpack into the Bivicover from MacPac, which is long enough for rough situations, but it was not necessary this time….
