What exactly does that cinch do to the measurements?  Does that bring in the waist at all?  I've never owned a pair of pants with a cinch like that.

Thanks, G!  So, the measurements on the chart right now for waist are with the cinch all of the way out.  How much can we bring the waist in with it?

And on the opposite end of the spectrum of that question, how much will the waist stretch?

You could probably do 4", but it would look bloody messy.

Same as any of the other 14oz jeans, so about an inch.

This looks interesting.  Can anyone compare to the “usual” cuts?

It’s more like a chino cut, but if you think of a 634 with a bit more tailoring, but not as slim in the top as a 666, you are close.

Fitted top block, regular thigh and knee with gentle taper to hem.

You can get them hemmed with chainstitch for a “jeans” look or do a chino hem for a bit more heritage look (like Giles did in his sample).

Thanks. That is pretty much what I was hoping for. I like the 777 but could use a roomier too box, especially for summer, and the 634 is too wide at the bottom while the 666 may have too narrow thighs. This looks like at brilliant solution.
